"Original Prankster" is a song by American rock band the Offspring. It is featured as the third track from their sixth studio album, Conspiracy of One, and was released as its first single on October 10, 2000. The song features additional vocals by Redman [1] and is included on the band's 2005 Greatest Hits album.

The Offspring were formed in 1983 under the name Manic Subsidal by singer/guitarist Dexter Holland and bassist Greg K., who later recruited Noodles as their guitarist. After Manic Subsidal changed its name to The Offspring in 1986, [ 1 ] drummer Ron Welty finally joined in 1987, then the band recorded a demo a year later.
The music video for the song was recorded in November 2001, [4] directed by David Meyers (who also directed the video for "Original Prankster"), [5] and debuted on MTV on December 8. [6] It is mostly a performance video of the band playing in front of a convenience store where various events relevant to the song's title take place.
