Pat Harvey (born November 13, 1955) is an American broadcast journalist.She joined KCAL 9 in Los Angeles in 1989, [1] and in 2010 began co-anchoring for KCAL sister station KCBS news at 5, 6 & 11 PM.

News Central is an American series of primetime newscast television programs on television stations owned by the Sinclair Broadcast Group.The programs mixed locally produced news with nationally produced news and an opinion segment from Sinclair's Hunt Valley, Maryland studios, along with weather segments customized for each market also originating from Hunt Valley. KCBS-TV is the oldest continuously operating television station in the Western United States. [citation needed] It was signed on by Don Lee Broadcasting, which owned a chain of radio stations on the Pacific coast, and was first licensed by the Federal Radio Commission (FRC), forerunner of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), as experimental television station W6XAO in June 1931.
The team returned to Channel 9, by this time renamed KCAL-TV, because The Walt Disney Company bought a stake of the team and eventually became the full owner after Gene Autry's death in 1998. At the time the broadcast rights were secured before the 1996 season, Disney had owned KCAL-TV, until they were forced to sell the station when it bought ABC.
