On the worst days, I'll make $10/hr. On the best days I'm making at least $35/hr. It's rather cyclical, where one Saturday may be good and and a Sunday may be bad, or vice versa. Weekdays certainly less than $20/hr. After all that uncertainty, I seem to average out $20-25/hr each week.
DoorDash is Scamming US. So I’ve just started dashing and have noticed that my acceptance rate drops quicker than it raises! Sheeesh, I don’t feel it’s right they dump my rate because I didn’t want to accept a crummy order going 12 miles for just $2. Then they keep resending it to me, forcing my AR to go lower and lower.
Depending upon your market, you can probably $15 to $30+ per hour. Only as a side gig unless you REALLY get your market figured out (and have a fuel-efficient vehicle). But what do I know. Give it a try and see what happens. You have to just try it to see if it can work for you in your area.
After my first few days of being a Top Dasher, I can absolutely say that it is worth it. I made $705.47 from only five days (22hr, 22min active time). With yesterday (3/4/23) being a total of $346.07 from 10hr and 41min of active time. It’s a pain to get to Top Dasher, but it is totally worth it when you get there.

Guarantee you'll get your Peak Pay bonus by ending your dash after completing each delivery. (Only works if the only qualification is "80% acceptance rate")Be sure to very quickly hit Dash Now again as to take ...
Cons: shitty orders, no tips, competing with people who do this for a living and have multiple accounts, putting lots of miles to your car. Pros: ... I enjoy doing it but only in the morning for the most part. Particularly in the winter when traffic become insane in my area.
