Alright, so first of all i'm really happy that people care about interior decoration. Most just make the outside nice and put a bed, a few paintings and a crap ton of chests inside. That's not interior decoration haha.
Village mines are either outside the village walls or have a small fenced-in "yard" to keep the villagers out. Couple of chests at the top, stairs down to the bottom, larger work/storage room at mining level with doors out to the actual mine. Maybe a clock on the wall or some paintings to brighten the place up.
Add a door. Put in your first floor using wooden planks. Light the place with torches. Create a kitchen using stone brick blocks, a furnace, and a cauldron with water.
I am currently starting to build a new storage room. I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas for an efficient and organized design. If you have a storage room you want to show off feel free to post pictures as any insight helps. _Thanks, Fr3shCactus
My suggestion: - Two furnaces. - Feed coal to both of them from a central coal double-chest by using hoppers that connect from the bottom of the coal chest to the side of the furnace.
