The Sea of Love is the second album by the Northern Irish rock band The Adventures, released in May 1988. Entirely written by band member Pat Gribben, the album was produced by Pete Smith and Garry Bell. The Sea of Love featured the single "Broken Land", their only Top 40 hit in the UK, and also their only chart entry in the United States.
The duo started off with the poppy ballad "Sea of Love", which became a strong single for the duo, being played and promoted heavily on the various music and performance charts. Fany had to perform the song solo while Brian was finishing his studies at Rutgers University, which why the solo version was included as a bonus track on the album.
"Sea of Love" was released as the album's fourth single on September 2, 2013. The music video for the song, which preceded its release as a radio single, debuted on May 8, 2013 [ 1 ] and parodies Russian Zvuki Mu 's video for their "Grubyj Zakat" song.
