Circle Y Saddles - Western Saddles, Trail Riding Saddles, Barrel Sadles, Roping Saddles. that is the page on the website with everything you need to know about the serial numbers plus a contact form for direct questions. FYI, it is spelled W-H-O-A. anndankev.
I have a circle Y saddle and I would really like to learn ANYTHING about it. I've tried using the Circle Y website; Circle Y Saddles - Western Saddles, Trail Riding Saddles, Barrel Sadles, Roping Saddles but cannot figure it out. What I do know is that it's a custom made saddle.

That saddle should not be this difficult to identify correctly. It may not be on the newest serial number identifier but it is identifiable probably down to who first ...
I'm still in the search for a new saddle! I just wanted your opinions on Billy Cooks vs. Circle Y for a barrel saddle in your experience. Also, I came across two nice saddles I really like (one of each brand). The Circle Y Proven is price $100 higher than the Billy Cook. In contrast the BC comes with everything pictured.
Though if I recall correctly, Tucker and Circle Y are owned by the same people and if that’s true then I’m worried about Tucker’s quality. I’ve even looked into some treeless saddles, specifically Ghost, and I like those….but then I’m worried about my weight not being distributed properly on my mare’s back. At this point I feel ...
Thanks for the info on my saddle I've had a couple other people comment that it looks like it might be a 60s/70s model and that would align with the inconsistent serial numbers Circle Y mentions on their website. I'll definitely be replacing the conchos once I'm done using this saddle to break colts at school.
According to the Circle Y website (link that horselovingguy posted above), the saddle was made in December of 1999 so therefore it is an "older" saddle and will be harder to get reliable information from Circle Y. Your style number is 2996 (first 4 numbers) 1 would indicate it is semi QH bars. 60 would indicate it is a 16" seat size.
I have owned 2 Circle Y equitation saddles. The first was a Richard Shrake model, it was a real confidence builder for me. I sold it to buy a car for $750, the car broke down permanently 3 months later, I'm sure the saddle is still going strong. The second had no silver or tooling and may have been an Arabian equitation saddle.

Is it just me, or does the Circle Y Park and Trail saddle model 3626 seem to be for sale a lot on ebay, horsesaddleshop.com and other classifieds? I'm looking for a nice used trail saddle between $600 and $900 dollars and it seems like this model could be good.

It took about 10-12 hours of riding to get the leathers and fleece to break in and the saddle to settle in and fit pretty good. I have been cinching up fairly snug ...
