Manhattan Project National Historical Park is a United States National Historical Park commemorating the Manhattan Project that is run jointly by the National Park Service and Department of Energy. The park consists of three units: one in Oak Ridge, Tennessee , one in Los Alamos, New Mexico and one in Hanford, Washington .

Replica (1968–2014) The site of the mill is part of the Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park, registered as California Historical Landmark number 530. [10]On September 8, 1965, a groundbreaking was held to begin the construction of a replica of the original structure, based on Marshall's own drawings and a photograph of the mill taken circa 1850. James Wyld (1812–1887) was a British geographer and map-seller, best known for Wyld's Great Globe. [1] He was the eldest son of James Wyld the Elder (1790–1836) and Eliza (née Legg). In 1838, he married Anne, the daughter of John Hester, and had two children, one of whom, James John Cooper Wyld also became a map publisher. [2]
