Victor Valley High School is located in Victorville, California, United States.It is the oldest high school in the Victor Valley Union High School District (VVUHSD).. The original campus was located at the former Victor Valley Junior High and University Preparatory School on Forrest Avenue in Old Town Victorville, until the current campus was built in 1952.
The college was created by a vote of the public in 1960 and the first classes were held in 1961 at Victor Valley High School in an unused building. The 253-acre (102 ha) campus started construction in 1963 and was opened to students in 1965.
It was the first high school to be built in Adelanto; previously students attended Silverado High School and Victor Valley High School in Victorville. [4] By 2008 area residents wanted a local high school, and the Victorville high schools were above capacity. [5]
A building called the Performing Arts Center (PAC), located in the 6000 building, is primarily used for assemblies, plays, concerts, and informative programs. Currently there is construction taking place on the campus, which, when completed, is rumored result in a teacher restaurant and a state-of-the-art facility for unknown purposes.
