KY 1297 starts at an intersection with KY 1402 east of Bowling Green. The road in its entire route from KY 1402 to the Barren County line is known as Gott–Hydro Road.

The William Page House is a historic house in Glasgow, Kentucky. It was built in 1814–1815 by William Page, a farmer, on land he had brought from John H. Baker in 1812.
