    Secondly, how does a dog go about expressing a wish to die? The 2013 Annual Review uses the phrasing "Dogs died or put to sleep". I suppose what they really mean is "Dogs who died, either of natural causes or euthanised by us". But it would be nice to have a statement of the Trust's policy on deciding to put a dog down.
