"Shizuka na Hibi no Kaidan o" (静かな日々の階段を, Climbing the Stairs of Quiet Days) [1] is an extended play release by Dragon Ash, originally released on 12-inch vinyl in 2000. The title track was the ending theme for the popular Japanese film Battle Royale , also released in 2000.
It is used as the first ending song for the anime series Dragon Ball GT. It was released on Mini CD on April 1, 1996, in Japan only and peaked at number 3 on the Oricon chart. [1] It is coupled with the song "Sunday". The song was used for the first 26 episodes of the series.
The single's B-side is "Detekoi Tobikiri Zenkai Power!", which is the first ending theme of Dragon Ball Z. Its composer Takeshi Ike had worked on the theme songs of the original Dragon Ball anime. Ike said he wanted to capture Dragon Ball ' s sense of mystery in the song and exude a "mystical kind of atmosphere". [6]
