He was a film critic in a popular Icelandic radio program on Radíó X and hosted another program called Hugleikur on the same station. Hugleikur is known for all kinds of visual and video art. He is most famous for his satirical comics filled with black humor, which have been published as books and in The Reykjavik Grapevine Magazine.
LazyTown (Icelandic: Latibær) is an English-language Icelandic preschool children's educational television series created by Magnús Scheving. [1] Designed to encourage healthy lifestyles, the series was based on Scheving's stage play Áfram Latibær!, adapted from a book that Scheving wrote in 1991.
Silvía Night was Iceland's participant in the Eurovision Song Contest 2006. Her antics, both onstage and offstage, created controversy and garnered international media attention. Her album Goldmine was released in April. It topped the Official Icelandic Albums chart on 23 April 2007. [1]
