The Advertiser is a daily tabloid format newspaper based in the city of Adelaide, South Australia.First published as a broadsheet named The South Australian Advertiser on 12 July 1858, [1] it is currently a tabloid printed from Monday to Saturday.
In 1981, the firm purchased a Mitsubishi L600 colour press, enabling Messenger to print coloured magazines including The Advertiser Magazine, Football Times, South Australian Radio TV Extra and Adelaide Matters. However, from 1988, production moved to The Advertiser. From 1991, all Messenger newspapers were printed by News Limited.
