Château Laroche, also known as the Loveland Castle, is a museum on the banks of the Little Miami River north of Loveland, Ohio, United States. Built in the style of a Medieval castle , construction began in the 1927 by Boy Scout troop leader, World War I veteran, and medievalist Harry D. Andrews. [ 1 ]
Castle in the Clouds is today owned and operated by the Castle Preservation Society, a private 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. The Castle, Carriage House, gift shop, art gallery and Cafe and Patio are open to the public from late May to early October. [6] The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2018. [2]

The Buckeye Trail is a 1,444-mile (2,324 km) [1] hiking trail and long-distance trail that loops around the state of Ohio. Part of it is on roads and part is on wooded trail . Road portions of the trail are gradually being relocated to separate trail.

It was constructed on the former Penn-Ohio Electric System trolley line along the Mahoning River in 1983, adjacent to the CSX New Castle Subdivision tracks. Considered an early example of rail-trails, its 1983 construction was dependent on a donation from the Stavich family, who ran many aluminum mills in the Youngstown area.

Buzzardroost Rock Trail, also known as Christian and Emma Goetz Buzzardroost Rock Trail, is a hiking trail in the Edge of Appalachia Preserve system in Adams County, Ohio. [1] It is located in the Appalachian Mountains and has a length of 2.2 miles (3.5 km). [2] It is part of the Buzzard Roost Nature Reserve. [3] [4]
