The complex, originally known as Fallbrook Square, opened between November 1963 and November 1966. The Mayfair Hotel is a historic hotel in the Westlake neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. The Sun Realty Company commissioned the building in 1926 and architectural firm Curlett & Beelman designed it in the Renaissance Revival style. The hotel opened on February 1, 1927. It closed in 2020 and was converted to homeless housing.

Bullocks Wilshire, located at 3050 Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles, California, is a 230,000-square-foot (21,000 m 2) Art Deco building. The building opened in September 1929 as a luxury department store for owner John G. Bullock (owner of the more mainstream Bullock's in Downtown Los Angeles). [2]
