Zdob și Zdub (Romanian pronunciation: [ˌzdob ʃi ˈzdub]; lit. ' Zdob and Zdub ' , onomatopoeic for the sound of a drum beat) is a Moldovan folk punk band, based in Chișinău . The band represented Moldova in the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 in Kyiv , Ukraine , on 21 May 2005, finishing 6th.
