Nazimabad Town (Urdu: ناظم آباد ٹاؤن) is an administrative subdivision within Karachi, Pakistan [4] in the northern part of the city. It is named after the suburb of Nazimabad , which is named after the second Governor General of Pakistan Khawaja Nazimuddin .
It was founded by Mehmood Ahmad Nizami in the year 1950, three years after Pakistan was founded by Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah. Nizami lived in the same society and also created the first house in PECHS, Block II where some of his descendants now live. It was previously administered as part of Jamshed Town, [1] which was disbanded in 2011.
BI-type house: 200 square yards; BII-type house: 300 square yards; C-type house: 500 square yards; Gulshan-e-Hadeed is divided into two Union-councils; UC-4 & UC-5 of the Gadap Town. The core of the area is made up of smaller "A-type" houses. Of late, most of houses facing the main artery of the area have been commercialized by owners.
