Moosewood Restaurant (January 3, 1973–present) is an American natural foods restaurant in Ithaca, New York.In 1978, the original founders sold the restaurant to the staff, who became "The Moosewood Collective."

As of 2024, The department's police force consisted of 54 employees including department chief Thomas Kelly. The City of Ithaca Common Council oversees IPD and makes budgeting determinations on behalf of the department.
