Degradation Trip is the second solo album by Alice in Chains guitarist and vocalist Jerry Cantrell, released on June 18, 2002. [1] It marks his difficult transition from Columbia Records to Roadrunner , and was dedicated to Alice in Chains lead singer Layne Staley , who died two months before the album's release.

After the Grateful Dead had completed their contract with Warner Bros. and begun self-releasing their recordings, the label released Skeletons from the Closet.The compilation of tracks from their back catalog was successful, and when the band moved onto Arista Records in 1977 to record Terrapin Station, Warner Bros. released a second, larger compilation of tracks from the 1967–1972 period.

[9]On October 11, 2017, Aiko announced a headlining North American concert tour in support of the album titled "Trip (The Tour)" with Willow Smith, Kitty Cash and Kodie Shane that will take place in November and December 2017, and a European leg was later announced.
Darren Robbins of the pop culture review website The Zeitgeisty Report has called the album a "masterpiece" and "possibly the most underrated album of all-time". [7] Critic David Fricke of Rolling Stone gave a generally positive review, commenting: Like Icarus in a skinny tie, the Knack flew too close to the sun and got burned real bad.
