In the C and C++ programming languages, unistd.h is the name of the header file that provides access to the POSIX operating system API. [1] It is defined by the POSIX.1 standard, the base of the Single Unix Specification, and should therefore be available in any POSIX-compliant operating system and compiler.
Normally the generated scanner contains references to the unistd.h header file, which is Unix specific. To avoid generating code that includes unistd.h, %option nounistd should be used. Another issue is the call to isatty (a Unix library function), which can be found in the generated code.
The C POSIX library is a specification of a C standard library for POSIX systems. It was developed at the same time as the ANSI C standard. Some effort was made to make POSIX compatible with standard C; POSIX includes additional functions to those introduced in standard C. On the other hand, the 5 headers that were added to the C standard ...
The C standard library, sometimes referred to as libc, [1] is the standard library for the C programming language, as specified in the ISO C standard. [2] Starting from the original ANSI C standard, it was developed at the same time as the C POSIX library, which is a superset of it. [3]
The actual cc65 compiler, a complete set of binary tools (assembler, linker, etc.) and runtime library are under a license identical to zlib's. [3] The compiler itself comes close to ANSI C compatibility, while C library features depend on the target platform's hardware. stdio is supported on many platforms, as is Borland-style conio.h screen ...
The Amsterdam Compiler Kit (ACK) is a retargetable compiler suite and toolchain written by Andrew Tanenbaum and Ceriel Jacobs, since 2005 maintained by David Given. [1] It has frontends for the following programming languages : C , Pascal , Modula-2 , Occam , and BASIC .
The setcontext family allows the implementation in C of advanced control flow patterns such as iterators, fibers, and coroutines. They may be viewed as an advanced version of setjmp/longjmp ; whereas the latter allows only a single non-local jump up the stack , setcontext allows the creation of multiple cooperative threads of control , each ...
pthreads defines a set of C programming language types, functions and constants. It is implemented with a pthread.h header and a thread library. There are around 100 threads procedures, all prefixed pthread_ and they can be categorized into five groups: Thread management – creating, joining threads etc. Mutexes; Condition variables
