Centerville High School is a public school of secondary education for grades 9–12 located in Centerville, Ohio, USA, situated 10 miles (16 km) south of Dayton.It is the only high school in the Centerville City School District, which also includes three middle schools, six elementary schools and two K–1 schools, or "primary villages".
In 1900, the U.S. Post Office changed the spelling of the town’s name from Centreville to Centerville. On December 2, 1968, Centerville became a city. [11] In 1973, Centerville High School was established.

All Fairfax County Public Schools require students, beginning in third grade, to take an end-of-year exam known as the Standards of Learning test, or SOL, that covers the content learned during the school year.
