On Naïve and Sentimental Poetry (Über naive und sentimentalische Dichtung) is a 1795–6 paper by Friedrich Schiller on poetic theory and the different types of poetic relationship to the world. The work divides poetry into two forms. Naïve poetry is poetry of direct description while sentimental poetry is self-reflective.

Devi was born in 1914. [2] She was the daughter of philosopher Surendranath Dasgupta and protégée of poet Rabindranath Tagore. [2] [3] She studied in St. John's Diocesan Girls' Higher Secondary School, Calcutta (now Kolkata) and graduated from the Jogamaya Devi College, an affiliated undergraduate women's college of the historic University of Calcutta, in Kolkata. Along with Amrita Pritam, Harbhajan is credited with revolutionising the Punjabi poetry writing style.
