The Odakyu Electric Railway Company, Ltd. (小田急電鉄株式会社, Odakyū Dentetsu kabushiki gaisha), commonly known as Odakyū or Odawara Kyuko, is a major railway company based in Tokyo, Japan, best known for its Romancecar series of limited express trains from Tokyo to Odawara, Enoshima, Tama New Town, and Hakone.
Enoshima (江の島) is a small offshore island, about 4 km (2.5 mi) in circumference, at the mouth of the Katase River which flows into the Sagami Bay of Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. Administratively, Enoshima is part of the mainland city of Fujisawa , and is linked to the Katase section of that city by a 389-metre-long (1,276 ft) bridge.
Sagami-Ōno Station is served by both the Odakyu Odawara Line and the Odakyu Enoshima Line. It is 32.4 km (20.1 mi) from the Tokyo terminus of the Odawara Line at Shinjuku , and is also the northern terminus of the 26.6 km (16.5 mi) Enoshima Line to Katase-Enoshima .
Kamakurakōkōmae Station was opened on 20 June 1903 as Nissaka Station (日坂駅, Nissaka-eki).It was renamed to its present name on 20 August 1953. In 1997, it was selected as one of the "100 Top Stations in the Kantō Region" (関東の駅百選, Kantō no eki 100 sen) by a selection committee commissioned by the Japanese Ministry of Transportation.
