The Panama-Pacific International Exposition was a big event in 1915 San Francisco. The Exposition grounds, in what is now the Marina District , had its own pier . On March 29, 1915 General Frisbie ran an excursion trip to this pier from Vallejo for Exposition dedication ceremonies.
