Chicago Restaurant Week 2024 Deals. Hi Chicago food friends! I've finished up the restaurant week deals list for 2024, the link is below. Min/max value: There is quite a range in the possible prices of items offered in the same course. I noted the total price for picking the lowest cost option in each course and the total price for picking the ...
2022 Chicago Restaurant Week Guide. Year 4! I've compiled a value guide for this year's restaurant week menus. To do this, I go down the list of all 200+ participating restaurants and compare the regular price of the individual menu items to the RW cost (either $25, $39, or $55). As you might guess, and has many of you have pointed out over the ...
Restaurant Week. This week (10th - 17th) is Mpls/St Paul restaurant week and I'm wondering if any of you have recommendations! Are the deals pretty good? I'm new to the area, but when I lived in Phoenix, Restaurant Week wasn't that great of a deal. It was more of a stunt to get people out, rather than good discounts or even special dishes.
Restaurant Week 2024. Thoughts. Hi Chicago food friends! I'm the writer of one of the 2023 restaurant week deal spreadsheets. Since dates for 2024 were announced, I'm thinking about redoing the spreadsheet again once menus and participating restaurants are released. Last year I focused on dollar value for a la carte relative to the restaurant ...
So many Restaurant Week deals fall under at least one of three categories: we'll sell you a 60% portion of a regular meal at 70% the price. we'll serve a 4-course menu, half of which you'll actually enjoy and half of which is whatever we could throw together for that week. we'll straight up sell what we usually sell but call it a "Restaurant ...
acrispyballer. MOD. Restaurant Week is a joke and not worth it anymore. Eat & Drink. I was excited for restaurant week, thinking it'd be fun to try new things and get some good deals. Damn I was stupid for thinking that. Every place I checked had a "reduced menu" of 3 or so items and the price was as much or more than the regular menu.
Restaurant Week was great when Mastercard gave $10 off the (total) bill on your credit card statement if you paid with one. Which made places like Jacob's Pickles with their $40 three course meal (pre-discount) an insanely good deal with tons of leftovers for the future.
Restaurant week was an opportunity for higher-tiered restaurants to market their food at affordable prices. Basically, it's just marketing. However, most restaurants don't even offer affordable prices anymore, and places like diners and mall chain restaurants participate. It's still marketing, but useless.
I made a map of NYC Restaurant Week locations, thought you all might find it useful! Does anyone have good suggestions on which places are worth to go to? Nice job OP! This is awesome, thank you for sharing.
Restaurant week tends to offer a crappy experience due to high volume and not enough options on the menu. I think you’re better off going on a regular week and just not ordering 3 courses. 2941 is never a disappointment. Makan is an amazing deal but you’ll very likely need a reservation on the weekend.
