I am unable to get it to work on my (Telus) Google account on my PC however in the Outlook email app (provided seperately at the microsoft app store, and Not the Office 365 version). Please note that the Telus Google account I refer to was an account transferred over to Google by Telus in Canada who used to supply and manage email addresses.

If you have the authenticator App set to your account and you don't have access any more to the device to authenticate, you have the option to recover your account credentials on your new device with the steps in the link however make sure you don't have a personal Microsoft account already set up in the authenticator app; https://support ...
I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with the Microsoft Authenticator app. If your account is Microsoft365 Work/School account and if you are an end user or if you are admin but other user has admin rights, I sincerely recommend you contact your admin and ask admin to reset the Authentication method for your account.

If your Microsoft 365 admin re-enables Multi-factor authentication for your account, you may need to reinstall the Authenticator app and then set up the Microsoft Authenticator app again.
