I was actually exploring all options that is why i mentioned another company. I’m actually new to filing taxes especially by myself. I have everything ready in turbo tax as well to be submitted. I just wanted to know if I submit my taxes through turbotax now and get a NOA in a few weeks…. I’d then be able to make my new CRA account right?
If you have "My Account" set up with CRA online, you can change your address from your account: sign in your account; on the right-hand-side menu under "Related services": click on "Change my address and phone number" If you don't have "My account" set up, you can call CRA at 1800-959-8281 . I hope this was helpful
Have no problem logging in to CRA in a new tab, using Chrome, Windows 10 @Gary Cribbs Log into CRA My account, and stay logged in, then try to AutoFill. Also make sure that if you are preparing your return with a spouse/common-law partner, that you are entering the right login info for the spouse/partner you are auto-filling.
Didn't work for me. logged into my wife's CRA account and import still wanted to go to my CRA account which is understandable as it auto-filling my section. At the end of my T3 it wanted me to enter my wife's data manually. The website said the program should have gone to my spouse's right after auto-filling mine but that did not happen.

Now we both have T4 forms. We made our taxes in 2022, but haven't got CRA accounts. Now I am trying to do our taxes via Turbotax. The question is can we have our returns together on my husband's Canadian bank account. Does the system ask how to send refund: on bank account or cheque. As we do not live in Canada the cheque is not a variant for us.
There may be a bit of a wait at this time of year, but once you connect with an agent and confirm your identity you can ask for any details about your tax account, including RRSP contribution room. Call 1-800-959-8281
Just wanted to add more information. I had tried a second new tax return and this time I used the login for my CRA account to transfer all taxable slips from the account and I was able to login into the CRA account. Filled in the information and paid a second time.
