    The load board and alerts are good because you get the alert the same time the broker gets it. Some Landstar brokers don't like this and will just tell you the load is booked, even if it isn't. Landstar is a Hotshot friendly company for sure, whether it is Flatbed, Sprinter or Expedited Box.

    That load above was listed on ITS for $2,450 and both the load and the alert showed up at the same time. Saw many, many loads like that on dry van side. Usually 100$ to 200$ more on ITS. And agents always ask if BCO or approved carrier in first question, BEFORE they give a rate.

    When the hoax first started.....Landstar was giving everyone an extra $50 a load for supposedly going in harms way. Well you guys know The OM. Had to pipe up on the fakebook page and ask why the agents were also getting $50 a load. I mean they made the arduous journey from their bedroom to the kitchen in their jammies at least 2 or 3 times a day.

    Lately it seems there's always about 40,000-50,000 loads on the board that are either already covered, agent won't answer the phone nor return a message, or are duplicate postings of the same load. So when theres 80,000 loads on the board, there's about a 30% chance that any given load is an actual available, attainable load.
