Angela Rockwood (born March 15, 1975) is an American actress and model, best known for roles in The Fast and the Furious, the syndicated television series V.I.P. and for her reality television series Push Girls.
A competitive swimmer at the time, Schaikewitz became paralyzed from the waist down "over the course of a half-day" [3] after an arteriovenous malformation (AVM) ruptured in her spinal cord when she was 15.
She was a main character on the 2012 The Sundance Channel reality television series Push Girls, [3] which won a Critics Choice Award [4] for "Best Reality TV Show". She was also one of the stars in the HBO film Musical Chairs. [5] [6] She died March 22, 2022, of breast cancer. [7]
In addition to her work on Push Girls, Tiphany speaks and advocates publicly on the topics of drunk and distracted driving, LGBT issues, nutrition, wellness and fitness. She is an ambassador for Wish Upon a Teen, an organization that provides resources and opportunities to teenagers dealing with autism or recovering from injury or chronic illness.
