The International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence (IJCAI) is a conference in the field of artificial intelligence. The conference series has been organized by the nonprofit IJCAI Organization since 1969. [1] It was held biennially in odd-numbered years from 1969 to 2015 and annually starting from 2016.
The IJCAI Computers and Thought Award is presented every two years by the International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence (IJCAI), recognizing outstanding young scientists in artificial intelligence.

In 2001, Levesque was the Conference Chair of the International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence (IJCAI), and served as President of the Board of Trustees of IJCAI from 2001 to 2003. In 1985, Levesque became the first non-American to receive the IJCAI Computers and Thought Award.

In 2015, Procaccia won the IJCAI Computers and Thought Award, given every two years since 1971 to an outstanding AI researcher under the age of 35, for "his contributions to the fields of computational social choice and computational economics, and for efforts to make advanced fair division techniques more widely accessible". [4]
