Salamat is the debut studio album of the Filipina singer-songwriter Yeng Constantino.It was released on January 19, 2007, through Dream Big Productions and Star Music.It reached its Gold status in February of the same year and reached 3× Platinum with sales of 90,000 copies. [1]
"Hawak Kamay" (Hand in Hand; literally "Holding Hands") is a song by Filipina singer-songwriter Yeng Constantino, the winner of the ABS-CBN TV program Pinoy Dream Academy in 2006. Solely written by Constantino, the song is about a cousin with whom she developed a deep friendship.
After winning, Star Music launched Constantino's debut album entitled Salamat, containing 10 songs, seven of which were original compositions by Constantino. Her album reached Gold Record status two weeks after its release and then later went Platinum after a month, followed by a "3× Platinum Record" certification several months later.
