Strawberry Hill House—often called simply Strawberry Hill—is a Gothic Revival villa that was built in Twickenham, London, by Horace Walpole (1717–1797) from 1749 onward. It is a typical example of the " Strawberry Hill Gothic " style of architecture, [ 1 ] and it prefigured the nineteenth-century Gothic Revival.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 36.8 square miles (95 km 2), of which 36.7 square miles (95 km 2) is land and 0.04 square miles (0.10 km 2) (0.05%) is water. U.S. Route 20A (US 20A) passes across the town. New York State Route 64 (NY 64) is a north–south highway in the southeastern part of the town.

In the early 21st century, renovations were begun, then halted, and the property was sold twice in 2012. [5] By January 2014 the structure was seriously neglected and derelict, [5] missing windows and the porch floor. Its future is uncertain. There is a nearly identical house, built c. 1845, at 64 Kay Street in Newport. [7]

Marble Hill House is a Neo-Palladian villa, now Grade I listed, in Twickenham in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. It was built between 1724 and 1729 as the home of Henrietta Howard, Countess of Suffolk, who lived there until her death.
