The Marshall Thundering Herd men's soccer team is a varsity intercollegiate athletic team of Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia.The Thundering Herd plays its home games at Veterans Memorial Soccer Complex in Huntington and competes in the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I Sun Belt Conference (SBC). The Thundering Herd finished the regular season with a 14–2–0 record winning the Sun Belt Conference men's soccer regular season championship. The 2022 Marshall Thundering Herd men's soccer team represented Marshall University in men's college soccer during the 2022 NCAA Division I men's soccer season. It was the 44th season the university fielded a men's varsity soccer program.
The 2019 season proved to be the program's most successful season at the time. Marshall finished as the Conference USA men's soccer tournament and regular season champions making their first ever NCAA Tournament appearance.
