Telefe Internacional was launched in 1998. In Argentina, for most of the history of broadcasting, there were only five major commercial national terrestrial networks until 2018. These were Televisión Pública, El Nueve, El Trece, Telefe and América. Since 2018, Net TV became the sixth major commercial network, [1] with Televisión Pública being the national public television service.
In addition to Telefe programs from Buenos Aires, Telefe Mar del Plata also originates some of its own programming, including its local newscasts, Teleocho Informa, and the weekly news review Tiempo Zonal. [48] Non-news productions include the sports program Goles de Medianoche ("Midnight Goals") [49] and Video Pesca, a fishing program. [4]

Telefe Santa Fe (call sign LT 82 TV) is an Argentine open television channel affiliated with Telefe that broadcasts from the city of Santa Fe, Argentina. The channel covers the center and northwest of the province of Santa Fe and part of the province of Entre Ríos. It is operated by Paramount Global through Telefe Group.
Telefe sold the Tucumán station to Televisión Litoral, which owns Telefe's rival El Trece's affiliates in Rosario and Bariloche, in 2023. As a result, the station rebranded as "Elocho TV", matching the imaging of the other two stations, on February 1.
