Maybe I'm doing something wrong but when I went to go download a movie from 1337x like normal it told me I couldn't download torrents without a VPN. Strange I thought, I was able to download a few days ago no problem. But when I turned on my VPN (PIA) it still wouldn't work, all the links redirect to a blank page.
Use 1337x.to, rutracker.org and rarbg.to. RIP rarbg. I didn't really use you since I am not into movies that much, but you were the best. I guess that means 1337x.to and rutracker.org are the only warriors we can access publicly. The best fork of Rarbg I have found is https://rarbg.best/.

Use the qbittorrent client and enable the search option there. Install the plugins and enjoy. Torrent Galaxy is the best right now, then piratebay, yts, and for searching through all of them bitsearch works pretty well. I dont use 1337x anymore, it sucks, the ui is really bad.
It seems easy to tell what downloads are safe(ish) on there by the skulls on the torrent listing, noting if/how reliable the author is. Where is a similar feature on 1337x? Regarding the number of seeders, they always seem to be pretty accurate once opening a TPB magnet link in qBittorent, but 1337x numbers are WAY off.
