Carnival Magic is my favorite Carnival ship, so the choice would be an easy one for me. Saint Greg’s post above provides a lot of good information. The only thing I would caution you about is from my experience, Carnival’s larger ships always feel more crowded than Carnival’s smaller ships.
Jenny: I have been in that exact Carnival Freedom cabin two times previously, as well as that exact cabin on some of the sister ships in that class. Noise problem was ZERO :) :) Not kidding. Vibration issues when arriving/exiting ports are, well . . ., memorable. It can be really really bad, but it's that way for the neighboring aft cabins as well.
Hello everyone! I am back home and (mostly) settled after having just gotten off the very first cruise of the Carnival Freedom since it stopped sailing in March 2020. I was on the Carnival Paradise in March 2020 and I hated that my most recent Carnival memories were fuzzy and from a 4 day booze cruise to Cozumel (I still had a great time though).
Just off April 6th. Nice ship, good size. Even tho it was right in the middle of spring break, the kids were very well behaved and most must have participated in the camp carnival programs.
I voted for Freedom although Glory and Freedom are my least favorite ships. Wasn’t a fan of Freedom but absolutely hated Glory.....I loved Liberty her sister ship. I since have jummped lines and love Royals Oasis class of ship Edited March 16, 2019 by Midwestgal Add on

Radiance Room 5301 with upper pullman (bed comes down from wall or ceiling) with "standard" carnival couch with no arms. Radiance Room 2344 with "convertible bunk" bunk lifts out of the couch. notice couch has arms. Unfortunatly there are no photos with the bunk up, for Carnival, but here is the equivalent couch from MSC with the bunk up.
Have used the laundry on the Carnival Freedom both times. At that time they were $3. per load for washer and $3. per load for dryer and used quarters. Seems someone said they used S&S cards on Freedom lately. I do know the Sunshine is the same $3. per load and used S&S cards.
