what is the balanced equation?? Post by blooddraine » Thu Oct 30, 2008 12:20 am Hey guys, was wondering if someone can help me balance the equation of acid-catalyzed dehydration of 2-methylcyclohexanol.
Please help, I need to balance this chemical equation using the lowest possible whole number coefficients and including the state of each compound, I have to assume that the reaction occurs ubove 100 oC, CH 4 + NH 3 + O 2----- HCN + H 2 O Many thanks
