Rantaro Kiyama (黄山 乱太郎, Kiyama Rantarō) Voiced by: Fumihiro Okabayashi (Japanese); Matt Hill (seasons 1-2), Kevin K. The series is set near the end of the Muromachi period.It is during the Sengoku period that the story takes place. By his father's recommendation, Rantarō enters the Ninjutsu Gakuen in order to study and become an elite ninja, but since joining and befriending Kirimaru and Shinbee, everything for him usually results in failure.
Voiced by: Kan Tokumaru (Season 1-Season 18 episode 69), Mitsuru Ogata (Season 18 episode 83-current) Andou is the first grade teacher for another class. He often calls Rantaro's class lazy and unproductive, comparing them to his class which seem to do nothing but study all day, thus getting good marks on their tests.
