Eagle Springs was a community situated 16 miles (26 km) southeast of Gatesville in Coryell County, Texas.The population reached 200 in 1884, but declined below 100 in the 1890s, and the few remaining public buildings were gradually discontinued in the 20th century; by the 1980s there were only a few scattered houses still standing.
