[3] [5] The character was already popular from the first season, where it had been portrayed by another performer. Zola 7 resembled the previous actor, and his performance only increased the popularity of the role.
The first Yizo Yizo soundtrack was released in 2000. It was certified platinum by the Recording Industry of South Africa (RISA). [1] This album was released on cassette tape as well as CD. Later, EMI released it to a streaming service.

Sthandiwe Kgoroge (born Sithandiwe Msomi; 4 February 1972) [1] is a South Africa actor who appeared in Generations, series 5 and 7 of MTV Shuga, the mini-series MTV Shuga Alone Together, and the first series of Yizo Yizo.
Nozomi Entertainment released English-subtitled Blu-ray sets of the first season in 2022, and the second season (including the Goku episodes) in 2023. Each episode title is a literary reference, and each episode ends with a still image drawn by one of manga artists associated with Kōji Kumeta .
The series uses five musical themes: two openings and three ending theme songs.
