Consumer Reports (CR), formerly Consumers Union (CU), is an American nonprofit consumer organization dedicated to independent product testing, investigative journalism, consumer-oriented research, public education, and consumer advocacy.
This is a list of wealthiest charitable foundations worldwide. It consists of the 50 largest charitable foundations, private foundations engaged in philanthropy, and other charitable organizations such as charitable trusts that have disclosed their assets.
The charities are then given a score from 0-100, with those earning a grade of 90-100 garnering a four-star rating. The website uses tax return information to make its determination.
The figures were published in February 2016 by the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) in its report titled Gross Domestic Philanthropy. [1] The report only considers the 24 countries about which CAF was able to collect comprehensive data.
