Vincent Neil Wharton (born February 8, 1961) [1] is an American musician. He is the lead vocalist of heavy metal band Mötley Crüe, which he fronted from their 1981 formation until his departure in 1992.

Theatre of Pain is the third studio album by American heavy metal band Mötley Crüe, released on June 21, 1985.Released in the aftermath of lead vocalist Vince Neil's arrest for manslaughter on a drunk driving charge, the album marked the beginning of the band's transition away from the traditional heavy metal sound of Too Fast for Love and Shout at the Devil, towards a more glam metal style.
The album includes songs originally performed by Mötley Crüe with the exception of "Look in Her Eyes" which originally appeared on Neil's 1993 solo album Exposed.On the album's cover art, the sign on the nightclub identifies it as "The Whisky" as opposed to its actual name, "Whisky a Go Go".
