Cape Girardeau Township covers an area of 70.46 square miles (182.5 km 2) and contains one incorporated settlement, Cape Girardeau.It contains fifteen cemeteries: County Memorial Park, Davis, Fairmon, Hitt, Hitt, Hitt, Lorimier, McGuire, Mount Auburn, Nunn, Old Hanover, Saint Marys, Salem, Shady Grove and Suedekum.
The largely rural county is supported by agriculture and construction. The county was officially organized in March 1851 from portions of Wayne, Cape Girardeau and Stoddard Counties, and named in honor of George Frederick Bollinger, an early settler. Bollinger County is part of the Cape Girardeau, MO–IL Metropolitan Statistical Area.

The Cape Girardeau–Sikeston Combined Statistical Area is made up of three counties in southeastern Missouri and one county in southern Illinois. The statistical area includes one metropolitan area and micropolitan area. As of the 2000 Census, the CSA had a population of 134,051 (though a July 1, 2009 estimate placed the population at 134,567).
Hubble Township is one of ten townships in Cape Girardeau County, Missouri, USA. As of the 2000 census, its population was 1,683 and Mayor (I) Bo Matthews was re-elected in 2020. Hubble Township was established in 1836, and named after Ithamar Hubbell, a pioneer citizen. Mayor Bo Matthews (I) was re-elected in 2020 [3]
The Central Dairy Building, also known as Downtown Appliance and Gunther's Games, is a historic commercial building located in downtown Columbia, Missouri. It was built in 1927, and enlarged to its present size in 1940. It is a two-story brick building with terra cotta ornamentation elaborate classical and baroque design motifs.
