Eregnaye (Amharic: እረኛዬ, translated as My Shepherd) is an Ethiopian television drama series written by Azeb Worku, Beza Hailu and Kidist Yilma, with the latter produced it. It premiered on 7 June 2021 [ 1 ] on ARTS TV and concluded on 19 August 2022 with 4 season and 48 episodes.

[1] Launched in 2008, the network is based in Ethiopia with correspondents both in United States at its headquarters in Silver Spring, Maryland, U.S. EBS TV broadcasts programs in mostly Amharic. [2] [3] EBS TV is the first private channel launched in Ethiopia.

Mahder Assefa (born 5 October 1987) is an Ethiopian actress. She has performed leading roles in Seberta, Yalteneka Amalayu, Ye Bet Lij, Shefu, FBI 2, Made In China and the Triangle trilogy. Mahder also garnered a public attention in 2011 late night television drama series Sew le sew, starring as Medhanit. [1]

Meseret Mebrate was born in Addis Ababa in Ghibi Gabriel. She was raised by her parents. She studied at Addis Ababa University and debuted in film at the age of 18. Later, she starred in various TV dramas and movies such as Gudifecha (2002), and the best known one is Gemena (2009) and Dana (2013).
