Chill-out (shortened as chill; also typeset as chillout or chill out) is a loosely defined form of popular music characterized by slow tempos and relaxed moods. [ 1 ] [ 2 ] The definition of "chill-out music" has evolved throughout the decades, and generally refers to anything that might be identified as a modern type of easy listening .
There are a total of 40 tracks formatted across two discs, mixed by John Course and Goodwill. This was Goodwill's first appearance in the Sessions series, and Course's third. [1] Sessions Three finished in 2006 at number seven on the ARIA 2006 End-of-Year Top 50 Dance Albums Chart [2] and number eight on the ARIA Top 50 Compilations Chart. [3]
It became known internationally for issuing popular compilations of lounge, chill-out music and world music, also under the Buddha Bar brand, released by George V Records. Buddha Bar began issuing compilations in 1999, and has since "made a name for itself with its Zen lounge music CDs and remains a hit – especially with tourists". [3]

The Ibiza 1991–2009 album notably comes in a 3-CD digipack, rather than the larger fold-away digipacks (which are contained in slipcases) used for the other seven albums. The same album is overlooked when the series is being listed in the booklet for Anthems R&B .
