On the way to the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus revealed that Peter would deny Him three times before the rooster crowed. Jesus also predicted that all the disciples would abandon Him, but Peter declared his loyalty, promising never to do so (Matthew 26:35, Luke 22:33).
