Brentwood Union School District is a public school district based in Contra Costa County, California. It includes almost all of Brentwood and portions of Antioch and Oakley. [2] The district operates nine elementary schools and three middle schools in Brentwood.
At the Incarnate Word High School San Antonio, Texas classes run on a modular schedule. Each day is broken down into 17 time-periods called "mods." Mods are 20 minutes long, except the lunch mods, which are 26 minutes. The schedule is on a two-week cycle. There are no bells between mods, and students are responsible for arriving to classes on time.

Brentwood School remained Grades 7-12 until 1995 when, under the guidance of Headmaster Hunter M. Temple, the school purchased the Marymount Junior School campus and opened the Lower Division. With the opening of the Lower Division in fall 1995, the school became Grades K-6 on the West Campus and Grades 7–12 on the East Campus.
