Eglinton Square Shopping Centre is an enclosed shopping mall in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, located at Eglinton Avenue East and Victoria Park Avenue in Scarborough's Golden Mile neighbourhood. [1] It opened in 1953 as a strip plaza and was later converted to mall.
The mall opened in 1977. Notable anchors at one time included Dominion, J. Pascal's Hardware and Furniture (later as Zellers), and a Chinese cuisine named "Ruby Chinese Restaurant." The Scarborough Public Library Board also opened the Woodside Square branch in the mall during the mall's early years of operation. [citation needed]
The TTC's Line 3 Scarborough had a station adjacent to the mall, Scarborough Centre, opened in 1985 with service running southwest to Kennedy station on the Bloor–Danforth line and east to McCowan Station, but it closed in 2023. [2] Scarborough Centre is a busy terminal for a number of TTC bus routes, as well as GO Transit.

Warden Woods Mall or Warden Power Centre (1981–2005) at Warden Avenue north of St. Clair Avenue East near Warden station, Scarborough [12] was a full mall with three anchor stores (The Bay, Simpson's and a Knob Hill Farms grocery store) and later as clearance centre.
