The Kent County Football Association, known as Kent FA, is the governing body of football in the county of Kent, England, and was formed in 1881. The Kent FA run over 20 County Cups at different levels of football for affiliated teams across Kent.
The Kent County Football League (known as the Kent County League) is a football competition based in Kent, England and adjacent area. The league was founded in 1922 as the Kent Amateur Football League and comprised Eastern and Western sections which functioned and were administered separately. [ 1 ]
Despite three moderately successful seasons, Corinthian struggled in Division One, and after finishing bottom of the division in 1996–97 and 1997–98, [3] they withdrew from adult football to concentrate on their youth teams. Maidstone Invicta were originally a youth club and were "taken over" within days of the Football League side folding. However, the lack of a suitable ground meant the club was effectively relegated seven divisions to the basement of the footballing pyramid and joined the Fourth Division of the Kent County League for the 1993–94 season.
At the end of the season they merged with the Kent Football United youth football club formed by Roy MacNeil's son Sam in 2010, adopting the youth club's name. [4] [5] In 2016 the Kent Invicta League merged into the Southern Counties East League, becoming its Division One. [6] In August 2022 they withdrew from the league. [7]

The league featured 13 clubs which competed in the division last season, along with two new clubs: Fleet Leisure, promoted from the Kent County Football League; Glebe, promoted from the Kent County Youth League; Also Meridian S & S changed their name to Meridian VP.
