Blinking Lights and Other Revelations is the sixth studio album by American band Eels.It was recorded over the space of 1998 to 2004 and released on April 26, 2005 through record label Vagrant, his first album on a new label following Eels' departure from DreamWorks Records.
This song is featured in the soundtracks of the movies Just My Luck, What Happens in Vegas and Charlie Bartlett. According to OU Athens film student Todd MichaeL Wiseman, this same song is also used during the opening title sequence of the romantic re-make movie called Griffin & Phoenix, a love story regarding transcention to the afterlife.

"Revelation Song" is a song written by Jennie Lee Riddle with lyrics adapted from Revelation 4 of the New Testament.The song first gained exposure on U.S. Christian radio through a Christ for the Nations Institute recording, "Glorious" in 2004, as well as on Gateway Worship's debut album, Living for You in 2006, and subsequently included on Kari Jobe's self-titled album.
The album's last song, "P.S. You Rock My World", is a hopeful bookend to "Elizabeth", containing subtly humorous lyrics that describe, among other things, an elderly woman at a gas station honking her car at Everett, incorrectly assuming he is the attendant, and his decision that "maybe it's time to live".
